01 Two ways

A print, or a licence

To buy an image — as a print for the wall, or as a licence for a magazine or a commercial use — write with a few details. Each enquiry is answered personally, one photograph at a time, with a written proposal; prices are given on request.

Fine-art prints

Photographs can be ordered as prints for the wall — for a home, a workplace or a collection. Name the photograph and the size you have in mind; the edition, the paper and the format are then set out in a written proposal, before anything is printed.

Image licensing

Photographs can be licensed for publication in a magazine or other media, and for commercial use. Each licence is written for its purpose — the medium, the territory and the duration — and the image file is supplied for that use.

02 How it works

From a photograph to a proposal

No basket and no checkout — a conversation, as with a gallery. You describe what you have in mind; a proposal is written for it.

  1. Choose a photograph

From the series and the galleries, or from the selection below. Its title, or the address of its page, is enough.

  2. Write to the studio

Say what the photograph is for — a wall, and the size you have in mind; a magazine or another publication; a commercial use — and which country you are writing from.

  3. Receive a proposal

A written proposal follows: for a print, the edition, the paper, the format and the price; for a licence, the terms of use and the fee.

Selected works

A starting point, not a catalogue: most photographs on this site can be the subject of an enquiry. Each is shown whole, as it was composed.

04 Questions

Before you write

For exhibitions, commissions or press, write through the contact page. Email: e-mail

iWhich photographs can I ask about?

Most photographs on this site, in the series and the galleries. The works on this page are a starting point, not a limit: give the title of the photograph, or the address of its page. If a photograph is not available, the reply will say so.

iiWhat should a request include?

Three things: the name of the photograph, or photographs; what it is for — a wall, and the size you have in mind, a magazine or another publication, or a commercial use; and the country you are writing from. For a licence, add the medium, the duration and the print run or audience, with any deadline.

iiiWhich sizes are possible?

Give the size you have in mind, or describe the wall the print is for. The sizes possible for that photograph, with the edition and the paper, are set out in the proposal.

ivHow is the price set?

Prices are given on request, in the written proposal. For a print, the price depends on the photograph, the paper and the format; for a licence, on the use, the medium, the territory, the duration and the circulation.

vWho answers?

Mohammadreza Domiri Ganji himself: every enquiry is read and answered personally.

viWhat are the terms?

Each proposal sets out its terms in writing — for a print, the edition, the paper, the format and the delivery; for a licence, the use, the medium, the territory and the duration.

viiAnd the Pink Mosque NFT?

The Pink Mosque photograph (2013) was also issued as a limited edition of 50 NFTs. To ask about it — or about a print of the photograph — write through the form below.
