About the gallery
Six photographs in which a real place becomes something else: a tower that smiles, a leap, a temple and three little planets.
The Smiling Tower is the Azadi Tower in Tehran, seen as a panorama; Jump to Fly was made in the Vakil water reservoir in Shiraz; the temple is Garni, near Yerevan in Armenia. Island is Kish, in the south of Iran. Sublimity and Fear also hang in the Little Planet Collection; in Fear, the planet takes the shape of a figure, with a face, two hands and two legs.
